How Bamburi Nexus looks, sounds and behaves. Nexus sits inside the Bamburi brand: same logo, same green, same pride in what we build.
Bamburi's public line is "Part of you. From the start." Nexus turns that inward. 380 colleagues across four sites, many on shift and on their phones, get one place for news, policies, people and tools.
The identity is the Bamburi master brand applied to a working tool: clear structure, generous type, Bamburi green for action, warm kiln orange for the moments that need attention, and real photography of our plants and projects.

Nexus has no logo of its own. We use the Bamburi mark unchanged and set "Nexus" beside it as a typographic descriptor, so staff see one company, not a new vendor.

The mark shown is the icon published on bamburigroup.com. Replace with the master vector files from Bamburi Marketing before handoff.
Taken from bamburigroup.com: Bamburi green, its mint tint and deep forest. Orange is used sparingly, for pinned notices, deadlines and recognition. Neutrals carry a slight green cast so the interface feels like one family.
Hex values are matched from the public website. Confirm against Bamburi's official brand guidelines before build. Dark theme values live in the design system.
Figtree is a warm, open sans with rounded curves and generous spacing. It reads easily on small screens and feels approachable, in step with Bamburi's "Part of you" voice. DM Mono, a soft monospace, labels versions, dates and codes. Both are free Google Fonts, so there are no licence costs to disclose.
Outlined at weight 400 by default. Filled only for the active nav item and toggled states such as a liked post. Icons always sit beside a text label, except in the top bar where they have an accessible name.
Use photography of our plants, projects and colleagues. No stock imagery. Landmark projects show what our work makes possible; people shots show who makes it. Darken photos with a forest gradient when text sits on top.
Photos are loaded from bamburigroup.com for this concept. Source originals and staff consent from Bamburi Communications before launch.
Clear, warm and direct. Say what is happening, who it affects and what to do. A plant operator reading on a phone between tasks should get it in one pass. Swahili greetings are welcome where they come naturally.
